In this article, you will learn how to schedule Pins for free using Pallyy. We’ll also provide tips and advice on using Pallyy to level up your Pinterest scheduling and how you can use Pallyy for your Pinterest marketing strategy.
Let’s start with our step-by-step guide to Pinterest scheduling:
How to schedule Pins for free – A step-by-step guide
If you find Pinterest scheduling boring or over-facing, we have the answer! Scheduling Pins with Pallyy is easy, free and takes just a few clicks. Here’s what you need to do.
Step 1 – Create a free account on Pallyy
To start scheduling Pins head over to Pally and create a free account. Click here to visit Pallyy.

You can start the process by clicking the button on the homepage, or clicking Get Started from the navigation menu.
On the pricing page, you can sign up for a Free or Premium account. If you want to schedule Pins for free, simply click get started on the Get Started button below the free plan. You’ll then be prompted to sign up for a free account. You can do this through Facebook or using your email.

Step 2 – Connect your Pinterest account
Once you’ve completed the account creation, you’ll be presented with a get started pop-up. You can use this pop-up to connect all the accounts in your social set, including Pinterest. To connect your Pinterest account, simply click the + with the Pinterest logo displayed next to it.

Then click Connect on the Pinterest pop-up. You’ll then be directed to a Pinterest page to allow Pallyy access to your Pinterest account.

If you’re already logged in to Pinterest, your account details will be displayed and you simply need to click Give access.
If you need to change the Pinterest account that you’re logged into, just click Not your account? Log out. And sign in to the correct account. Once you’ve done that, head back to Pallyy and repeat the process to give access to your new Pinterest account.
Step 3 – Upload your own Pinterest Pins to Pallyy or create Pins using Canva
After connecting your Pinterest account, you’ll then be presented with Pallyy’s main dashboard. You should see a large calendar as well as a sidebar that gives you options to access your media library, hashtags, grids, and templates.
To schedule Pins, you first need to add some media to your media library. To do this click on the New + button on the media panel to the left of the calendar:

Then click Media Upload. You’ll then get the option to add media from your device or to Design with Canva.
If you already have Pin images ready to upload, then you can simply click on the My Device option and upload your Pins from your computer. It will then appear in your media library at the side of the page:

If you need to create fresh Pins, then you can click the Design with Canva option. This will redirect you to a Canva popup window where you can design content using free or premium templates and elements.
However, this Canva pop-up only allows you to create content that is optimized for Instagram, so you may have a problem with dimensions when publishing these to Pinterest.
The best option is to go directly to Canva to create your Pins, download them to your device, and then follow the method above to upload them to Pallyy.
Step 4 – Select your desired date
Once your content is uploaded, you can schedule Pins easily. To do this, take a look at the calendar and choose a date for your Pinterest post. Then click the + in the corner of the box for that date.

Then click Create a new – Media Post. Then a small window displaying your media library will pop up.

Simply select the media you want to publish on this date, and click Add Media. Pallyy will generate a Pinterest post ready for you to add the finishing touches.
Note: In the calendar view you can also see all of your previously scheduled Pins.
Step 5 – Add links and hashtags and then SCHEDULE!
After you’ve added your media, you’ll be presented with a window showing how your Pinterest posts will look when it’s published on your Pinterest feed.

In order to schedule your post, you’ll need to select which board you want to publish it to. Pinterest boards are where a user saves a collection of related/specific Pins. Pinterest boards are a useful way to segment your content.
In addition to this, you can also add important elements such as a post title, a description, a destination link, and hashtags to your post.
In order to add Hashtag, you’ll need to first create a hashtag list in your saved hashtag library. To do this, click the Hashtags in the left-hand sidebar. Then click Create New Hashtag List.
You’ll then be presented with a popup to create your hashtag list. You can add up to 30 relevant hashtags. You can create as many lists as you like, so you can plan hashtags for multiple Pins and multiple boards in advance.

When you’re done, hit Save and you can then easily add these to your post later.
Once you’re happy with your post and Hashtags, you’re ready to schedule. Before you save the post check the date and time in the top right of the post and amend it if you need to. Then simply hit Schedule, and your post will be published to Pinterest automatically.

And you’re done! Yes, Pinterest scheduling is really that simple…
