5 tips for driving more traffic to your website
Highlight your most important links
Distracting people from the important things is not what you want. Don’t be tempted to include every link on your landing page.
These are some of the good things you can highlight on your link-in bio landing page:
- Your website’s home page
- The most popular or recent piece of content
- Information about a promotion, sale, or giveaway
- Links to other social media accounts
- Your online storefront and top product page
- The best lead magnet
Match your links with your goals
The purpose of the landing page’s link in bio page will determine which links you include.
You might not want to use other social media accounts links to build your email database. Instead, put your lead magnet or sign up for your list front and center.
If you use Instagram or TikTok for sales purposes, you will want to be focused on your online storefront and any recent sale or giveaway.
Value, not hard selling
If someone clicks your link in their bio on Instagram or TikTok they are looking for specific content. Instead of trying to sell them, make sure your landing page meets their expectations.
Instead, you should focus on providing value. You could, for example:
- Offer special deals or discounts to people who purchase via your landing page
- Link to your most-read and most useful piece
- Include a brief introduction about yourself or your brand
