One catch: You cannot delete a photo from an Instagram carousel that has only two photos.
You want to delete an image from a post with three or more photos? Easy. It is not possible to transform a published carousel in a traditional IG post.
Step 3 In the upper left corner of your carousel you’ll see a trash bin icon. To delete the photo, tap that icon.
Step 4 –Instagram will prompt you to confirm that you want to delete the photo. To seal the deal, tap Delete. However, you can still restore the image for up to 30 days after it was deleted.
Step 5 Tap Done at the top right corner to save your edit. This is the most important, so pay more attention!
