Meta has launched Branded Content on Reels. Creators can now use the “Paid Partnerships with” label on organic posts. Participating sponsors will then be able convert them into Branded Content Ads.

How it works. You’ll need to use Facebook’s branded content tool to tag businesses associated with the product or brand. Your business partner will be notified once you have been tagged and receive certain metrics about the post.

Meta’s statement. Once your post is tagged, the business partner will receive metrics about it.

Branded Content policies. Meta’s Branded Content Policies must be adhered to by creators who post branded content. These policies prohibit creators of promoting certain content and define content that requires additional restrictions from business partners.

These restrictions and policies are defined by Meta in its Branded content on Facebook Reels Setup Guide. It also includes step-by-step instructions as well as more information about features.

Why we care. Meta’s partner monetization policies apply to creators. You should be eligible for the Branded Content Tool if they also adhere to their branded content policies.
